So, we’re down to three races left and we’re midway into the Round of Eight. Now it’s on to another cookie-cutter and that would be Texas.

Picks and Prognostications
Texas is the next stop in the Playoff Countdown. Like the last race it’s another 1.5-miler. Will the racing be different?
Austin Dillon won the first 2020 race here, securing his place in the Playoffs. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the last round before he could get here and get the chance to repeat to get to the finals.
To date, non-Chasers or eliminated Chasers rarely win Playoff races. Can Austin break tradition here?
When you look at who has the best shot to win that would the Chasers who had won here before. That would include Kevin Harvick (3), Denny Hamlin (3) and Kurt Busch. Thin field. Non-Chasers would include Dillion, Kyle Busch (2), Matt Kenseth, Ryan Newman, and the winningest active driver here - Jimmie Johnson (7). Could he close out his swan song season with a win here?
When you get to this point all the races are big with everything on the line. Will the winner come from the Chasers who can lock their way into the finals or from the field who can upset everything and throw it back into points deciding advancement? Let’s see what our Fantasy Racers think is going to happen at the next cookie cutter-
PattyKay Lilley
He's won the fall race at Texas in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Guess I'll stick with #4, Kevin Harvick for another time.
Frank Buhrman
Picking guys who are "due" has rewarded me with some great 8th-place runs, so it's time to be boring and - acknowledging that I may bring my jinx back on him - picking Kevin Harvick to win this deal.
Vivian Simons
Gotta stick with that #4 car with Kevin Harvick driving for the win at Texas.
Berra Nordin
Last time they raced in Texas I took on #19 Martin Truex Jr as my pick and as I don't have any better Idea I'm going to go with him again!
Kelly Meiste
Kyle is gonna mess up their tea party at Fort Worth. 18 for the win.
Vicq Ruiz
The magic 8 ball comes up twice this week for Bowman in the #88.
Hal Ashburn
I like Kevin to win but I'll stick with Denny!
Will Dossett
Put me down for Bowman, the showman until Larson takes it over!
J. L. Steele
I'm making this pick early; I don't think the haulers have even left Kansas City yet to go back home. I know Hamlin and Harvick are the easy choices, but I think Brad Keselowski is a lot like Logano. He's a driver who was hot earlier, has been quiet of late and is poised for a win. He also has a great record at Texas. Brad Keselowski and the blue deuce for the win.
John Barnes
Just to keep pace with everyone, I should pick the 4. And I feel like my work with jinxing the 18 is done. So... Hamlin.
David Nance
Chevy won here earlier. I’ll go with the #1.
