Jim Fitzgerald has been a NASCAR fan for more than 20 years, and has been writing about it for more than 15 of them. He credits his father for introducing
him to the sport, and his early favorite drivers were Davey Allison and Rusty
Wallace. Jim's experience includes writing for websites such as Sportsfanatics.net,
CheckeredWorld.com, and Insider Racing News before starting his own website,
Race Fans Forever. Jim believes that racing is a circle. It is the action on the track which brings the fans, but it is the fans which allow the sport to not only exist, but thrive. Without one, the other would not be a factor.
Jim is married, has one grandson, and
lives in Maryland.
