The lite version of the Coca-Cola 600...
Chase Elliott finally finds a Cup Victory Lane after being knocked out of one at Darlington and pitting from the lead to give the 600 away. He got the Truck race earlier this week, collecting the $100k bounty. Maybe that was just the nudge it took to get the monkey off his back.
PattyKay Lilley and J. L Steele pulled off the win as the Dawsonville Bounty Hunter was their picks for this race. Frank Buhrman’s Denny Hamlin pick finished second. Six Racers finished in the top 10. Here is the race finish.

Frank Buhrman continued his lead in points, but Lilley’s 40-point win cut deeply into Buhrman’s point lead. J. L. Steele used his 40-point win to leap three positions. Berra Nordin moves up two positions as well. Here are the Points Standings after our eighth race.
Overall, lots of shuffling in the points.
Food City Presents the Supermarket Heroes 500 Picks
Bristol
The Pandemic Schedule Shuffle brings the Traveling Circus to Thunder Valley a few weeks later than originally intended, but hopefully as intense.
Kyle Busch was the winner of the last Spring race here. Denny Hamlin won the Fall race here.
In addition to Busch and Hamlin, Kurt Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski have all visited Victory Lane here. Clint Bowyer, Ryan Newman and Chase Elliott have shown well here in the past.
Lots of choices. Past Victor or Newcomer? Let’s see what our Fantasy Racers think.
PattyKay Lilley
Just put me down for the winner... Kyle Busch. He pretty much has a lock on Bristol of late.
Frank Buhrman
Bristol is a little less of a shot in the dark than it used to be, but it's still good to seek out somebody who seems to do a better-than-the-other-guy job of keeping out of trouble, and over the last few years, that guy has been Kyle Busch. I hate to keep picking the same driver, but it really makes sense, and SO FAR, I don't seem to be much of a jinx, so #18 it is. Guess I'll have to slip up to the dollar store, socially-distanced and masked, of course, and pick up some M&Ms before the weekend.
Vivian Simons
Although Kyle Busch has won 3 of the last 5 races at Bristol, I find it very hard to pick him. Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski have won twice there so maybe one of them can do it. I think I will go with Joey in the #22 Ford to win Bristol.
Berra Nordin
I’ll just stick to what I know, and #18 Kyle Busch is always very good on short tracks and been in focus, so I'll go with him!!
Kelly Meiste
Heading into Kyle Busch’s wheelhouse. Still ticked from losing the Truck bounty he will make it up at Bristol.
Vicq Ruiz
I'm going with Matt Kenseth. One of the reasons I like him is that he was the last driver to win a real, season long title.
Hal Ashburn
Guess I'll go with KB in the (coin flip) #18.
Will Dossett
My new go-to guy, #8, Tyler Reddick.
J. L. Steele
Kevin Harvick
John Barnes
Kyle Busch
David Nance
Need to spread the love, I mean jinx. Let’s see what the other Busch, Busch the elder can do.
