Dave Fulton was born in Richmond VA in 1948. At age 15 he attended his first stock car race - a Grand National event on the Richmond fairgrounds dirt. He became an immediate race fan.
In 1980, Dave had the opportunity to become Manager of Wrangler Jeans NASCAR Special Events, signing Dale Earnhardt to his first personal services contract. He later became Motorsports Coordinator for 7-Eleven racing efforts, with Kyle Petty and Derrike Cope driving under the company's stock car sponsorship. He was VP & GM of a Winston Cup team and also worked with agencies, including his own, representing drivers, owners and racing sponsors. He finished his racing career with a ten year run at Richmond International Raceway as Media Relations Director.
Dave's favorite driver is the late Ray Hendrick, and his favorite track was the Wilson County (NC) Speedway, a half-mile dirt showplace that once hosted early Grand National races and where he once had an interest in a Limited Sportsman car.
